Silver lotus earrings in art nouveau style made in sterling silver with sterling earwires.

The water lily the birth flower for Pisces. Lily pads, also known as Seeblätter, are a charge in Northern European heraldry, often colored red (gules), and appear on the flag of Friesland and the coat of arms of Denmark (in the latter case often replaced by red hearts). The water lily has a special place in Sangam literature and Tamil poetics, where it is considered symbolic of the grief of separation; it is considered to evoke imagery of the sunset, the seashore, and the shark.

These earrings are cast in solid sterling silver. We can make these earrings with different finishes, but make them in the finish (brushed with patina added) you see in the photo unless otherwise requested. We make each one of these designs ourselves from concept to creation. Each piece is made from scratch, and we hand finish and polish each one. All jewelry is made in the USA from recycled materials.
